KARACHI, Dec 12: The department of Business Administration, University of Karachi, has announced the list of candidates selected for admission to BBA (Hons) for the academic year 2002.

This was announced by the spokesman for the Karachi University on Wednesday.

The list contains the names of 50 candidates selected for the provisional admission to BBA (Hons).

It was stated that these admissions were subject to verification of documents according to the university rules and regulations.

The name of a student who applied for admission on DAE seat was also among successful candidates.

The selected students have been asked by the department to complete admission formalities and submit the fee from Dec 14 to 15, 2001 at the main Silver Jubilee gate of the KU.

MA PREVIOUS RESULTS: The examinations department of the KU on Wednesday announced the results of M.A (previous) external annual examinations 2002.

The statistics the results revealed that some 742 candidates registered themselves, of whom 673 appeared in the exams and 488 candidates were declared passed. The pass percentage was 72.51 per cent, whereas 185 candidates were declared failed. The results of five candidates were withheld for using unfair means.

DATE EXTENDED: Registration schedule: The examinations department has once again extended the date for submission of registration and examinations forms for B.Com external.

According to a KU notification, external candidates can submit their B.Com registration and improvement of division forms up to Dec 21, with Rs 2100 as late fee.

The examinations forms for B.Com either part would be accepted till Dec 21 alongwith Rs2100, whereas B.Com (both parts) examinations forms can be submitted till the same date

ADMISSIONS ON DONORS SEATS: The admission committee of the KU has announced that forms for admissions on donors seats can be submitted up to Dec 24.

Admission forms are available from the office of the deputy registrar(Academic).

PAK STUDIES EXAMS: The examination departments announced on Wednesday that the Pakistan Studies (new course) examinations B.Com Part-I (external & regular), scheduled to be held on

Dec 22, had been rescheduled and would now be held on Jan 10.

B.Sc MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY RESULTS: The department has announced the results of B.Sc Medical Technology (old course) supplementary examinations.

Candidates having seat nos. 122, 123, 124 and 125 were declared passed with 80 per cent pass percentage.—APP/PPI
