Rangers conducted an operation in Mubina town and arrested six suspects. According to official sources, the suspects were involved in car-lifting activities.

A second operation was undertaken in the Bewa Colony area of Site, where a further 24 suspects were arrested by the security forces.

On Sunday morning, Rangers arrested another 12 suspects from Sorab Goth allegedly involved with banned organizations, who were identified by the suspects arrested earlier.

Rangers also recovered a suspicious looking bag near Aga Khan Flats, which contained upon inspection several grenades. These were duly made inactive by the Bomb Disposal Squad.
