SUKKUR: Two brothers shot dead

SUKKUR, May 30: Two brothers were killed and another was injured by armed persons in a village near Raonti, Ghotki district, on Thursday on the pretext of Karo-kari.

Todo Shar and his brothers, Bahar Shar and Aziz Shar, were sitting in their Autaq in the Karim Dino Shar village when gunmen opened indiscriminate fire on them. Todo Shar and Bahar Shar were killed on the spot and Aziz Shar was injured.

ACCIDENT: One person was killed and six others were injured in an accident on the Indus Highway near Kandhkot on Thursday evening.

Rakhial Shah was killed and Zakir Shah, Deedar Shah, Bashir Jakhrani and three others were injured when a Datsun pickup overturned after hitting a trailer.

KIDNAPPED: Armed persons attacked the Dur Mohammad Jakhrani village near Dera Bugti by opening indiscriminate fire and kidnapped Chakar Khan Khoso.

Meanwhile, some bandits barged into the house of Hamid Malik in the Durrani Mahar police station jurisdiction for robbery. They opened fire when the inmate of the house offered resistance, injuring Mr Malik and his wife, Sara.
