KARACHI, May 26: All moral and spiritual problems of humanity can be solved through the teachings of Holy Quran. This was the consensus of speakers at “Qurani Science Conference” held at Aga Khan Auditorium.

On the occasion Dr Allama Naseeruddin Naseer Hunzai’s new book “Quran-i-Hakeem aur Alam-i-Insaniat” and a book in Broshski language, “Shimol Boq”, were also launched.

At the conference, which was presided over by Lt-Gen (retd) Syed Zaheer Ahmad, papers were read out by Prof Sahar Ansari, Dr Moeenuddin Aqeel, Syed Khalid, Obaidullah Baig, Shahnaz Saleem, Ghulam Quadir Baig and Robina Barolia.

They paid tribute to Prof Hunzai for writing over 100 books and booklets on a variety of topics. In the backdrop of the ongoing dialogue on Islam and other civilizations, touched off by 9/11 events, his book, published in Urdu and English, would help in understanding Quranic teachings and its universal message, they said.

Robina Brolia presented her paper with reference to Prof Hunzai’s another book, Kitab Al-Ilaj, that dilates on how to cope with the ills of morality, psychology and intellect.
