ANP's Ghulam Bilour has admitted defeat from Imran Khan in NA-1 (Peshawar-I). Khan won 66,464 votes from the seat.

“People have expressed confidence in Imran Khan and have rejected us,” the former cabinet minister and senior ANP leader told a private television channel. The seat in Peshawar was one of four that Khan contested.

“I congratulate him,” Bilour said. ANP led the outgoing government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“People wanted change and I think what has happened was correct. Now it is up to us to think why people have rejected us,” Bilour said.
