VEHARI, May 17: The bank manager, who was injured seriously by armed men on Friday during a dacoity bid in MCB’s Sardarpur Jhandir branch at Mailsi, died here on Saturday.

Scores of people, including bank employees, offered his funeral prayers at Burewala. Bank guard Muhammad Hussain, who was shot dead by dacoits on resistance on Friday, was also laid to rest in his native Tibba Sultanpur village. A large number of people offered his funeral prayers.

As of now, the police could not arrest the dacoits involved in the murderous dacoity attempt.
