KHAIRPUR, July 3: A team of anti-corruption sleuths raided the taluka municipal administration (TMA) offices of Khairpur and its engineering branch on Wednesday. Sikandar Jalbani, the circle officer of anti-corruption Khairpur, told journalists that he and the deputy director asked the officials concerned for the record of works executed between 2002 and 2007.

The TMA officials told them the record went up in flames when violent mobs set the TMA office on fire in 2007 after the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, said the official.
