Verbal condemnation is neither here nor there . They must resolve to tackle this issue with brute force and the PM should issue a dire warning to the terrorists to surrender . Musharraf was right in his approach and the insurgency was contained but we decided to indict him for murder ! Now the insurgents know that any one trying to hurt them will think 10 times before taking any action . But unfortunately this is a nation of cowards and we love to surrender to any one who can kick our butt. So surrender oh cowards like you have been doing all along . This is our national trait !!

The political parties are talking about negotiating with these terrorists. That will never work. These people have an extreme view of religion, which they think that it is their duty to enforce upon others. That view cannot be changed by negotiation. Musharraf had the right idea. He looked at the solution in two parts: immediate control, and long term solution. Both parts are important. The long term solution is education and changing the social and economic conditions. But that will take a long time and you cannot wait that long. You have to use force to control the extremists to protect public, which is the primary responsibility of the government. President Musharraf had the right idea; bring him back and you will have the solution.

Do they only condemn? They should be held accountable for all this blood-shed. It fails me, that a huge Pakistan army which gets a lion share of the annual budget, cannot control the menace of terrorists if their is will at the central govenrment level

To all our leaders - it is quite heart-warming to see that each of you has condemned this barbaric act of terrorism - however the citizens of this country need to know what you are going to do about it? If other countries can go outside their boundaries to catch these terrorists (like the U.S. coming into Afghanistan, etc.), why can't we find these murderers here in our own country and stop them from terrorizing our people? Surely, with the intelligence system we have in place, where we have helped the United States catch a lot of Al-Qaeda operators, we can catch most of these criminals - if not all. We are having these attacks every day all around the country. This particular attack must have been planned for months and yet, we did not get any leads to stop it? This sounds ironic - however, something our leaders need to pay more attention to! To our leaders - I ask to stop condemning these acts, as we have heard lots of condemnations in the past and to in fact, take some action. I guess, with the security that they enjoy, it is hard to imagine what an ordinary Pakistani is going through every day.

Our politicians in power are very fast in condemning the act of terror to show people that they are concerned but they do not do any thing to stop this ongoing uprising resulting in terror and deaths in the province.
