Gunmen kill Nato truck driver in Chaman

QUETTA: Armed militants opened fire at a Nato container and killed its driver in Chaman town of Balochistan on Friday, police said.

Police said four militants on two motorcycles opened fire at the container-truck in Grid Station area of Chaman, Pakistan's bordering town with neighboring Afghanistan. The container was carrying fuel for US and Nato troops, they said.

The militants managed to escape from the spot following the shooting.

Police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel reached the spot and started investigation.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
