PESHAWAR, May 11: Vice-president of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Maulana Hamidul Haq MNA denouncing the performance of the district government Nowshera said that the authorities concerned had failed to solve the problems of the people.

He demanded of the government to take action against the inefficient and incompetent officers of the district government.

In a press statement issued here on Saturday, Mr Haq said that some government departments, especially Wapda, had failed to provide quality service to its consumers.

He said that the people of Nowshera, Jehangira, Risalpur and Akora Khattak were suffering from frequent loadshedding and demanded of the federal minister for water and power, Aftab Ahmad Sherpao to solve the genuine problems of his constituency on priority basis.
