LAHORE, May 1: Green Town police claim to have arrested three drug peddlers and recovered 800 litre liquor from their possession.

Green Town Station House Officer Chaudhry Naveed Azam said the arrests came during a crackdown launched on Wednesday.

He said the police arrested Munir Masih when he was transporting 500 litre liquor to the market.

Similarly, the police arrested Anwar and seized 350 litre liquor of low quality.

In a separate raid, the SHO said the police apprehended Tariq alias Tari and recovered 1050 gram charas from his possession.
