Five fake cops held

TAXILA, Sept 25: Wah Saddar police arrested five fake police cops while planning to rob people in Faisal Iqbal colony on Tuesday.

Police sources said that acting on a tip-off, a police party raided Faisal Iqbal colony and arrested Atif Hussain, Adil Hussain, Sadaqat Hussain, Mohammad Usman and Ahmed Usman fleecing people.

Police also recovered three pistols and one dagger from their possession. It is important to mention here that three of the accused are brothers, who were involved in armed robberies in the area, while posing themselves as police officials.—Correspondent
