KOHAT, March 26: The security forces arrested an Afghan militant in a raid on a house in Mamoo Banda area of Hangu on Saturday and recovered dozens of local and foreign cellular phone SIMs from his possession.

Sources said that six other suspects were also held in Zargari area for their alleged involvement in attacks on police vans in parts of Hangu. Their names were being kept secret by army, sources added.

Sources said hat security forces found 25 beds in the house from where the Afghan militant was held during the clandestine operation. Officials said that his presence in the house and 25 sleeping beds had created suspicion therefore he had been detained for interrogation. The arrested Afghan militant was identified as Zmark son of Khayal Mohammad, a resident of Khost province of Afghanistan. He possessed no arms but dozens of cellular phone SIMs were seized from him, officials said.
