Loadshedding in Dadu

DADU, Jan 31 Activists of different political parties took out a procession here on Sunday in protest against prolonged loadshedding in Dadu and adjoining areas.

After marching on main roads, they held a demonstration in front of the press club.

Addressing the protesters Dadu Citizens Alliance president Inayat Hussain Jamali said that disruption of power supply of 12 to 14 hours was causing immense hardship to people.

It has also caused an increase in crimes.

He also said that Hesco had disconnected many lines although bills had been paid.—Correspondent
