KARACHI, Sept 15 Hosts Aga Khan Gymkhana (AKG) defeated A.O. Blues in a last-over finish to move into the quarter-finals of the 22nd Aga Khan Gymkhana State Life Ramazan Festival Twenty20 cricket tournament at its own ground on Monday.

Suleman Huda played a match-winning knock of 55 not out as the AKG won the Group 'C' fixture by one wicket with two balls to spare after scoring 144-9.

Suleman slammed four fours and two sixes in his 41-ball innings. Mir Afzal Baig also played a very crucial part by striking four sixes in succession off slow left-armer Fahim Ahmed Sr in a nine-ball cameo of 28 that also included a solitary boundary.

Earlier, A.O. Blues were dismissed for 142 despite an opening stand of 50 between Owais Ahmed Rehmani (16) and Adnan Baig (32). Zeeshan Khemani and Sikander Khan claimed three wickets each.
