QUETTA Law enforcement agencies on Wednesday seized a huge quantity of illegal arms and ammunition from Zhob area of Balochistan.

According to official sources, law enforcement agency personnel raided a place in Kanokai area close to Afghan border some 230 km south-west of Zhob on a tip off about presence of illegal arms and ammunition.

They recovered huge quantity of illegal arms and ammunition had been dumped for onwards smuggling to the interior of Balochistan.

The seizure including 21000 rounds of anti-aircraft guns, mortar shells of 82 MM 62, shells of MMRR 75 gun 54 and other ammunition. However, no arrest could be made.
