PVF invites 35 for three-day trials

KARACHI, Feb 8: The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) on Friday invited some 35 spikers to appear in three-day trials which are to begin at Islamabad’s Pakistan Sports complex on Sunday for the selection of two outfits for upcoming international assignments.

The PVF plans to pick 24 players from amongst the lot for participation in the 14th Asian Juniors’ Volleyball Championship and the South Asian Games.

Spikers: Amal Khan, Faizan Khan, Faisal Rizwan, Arbab Amjad, Usman Ghulam, Kamal Nasir, Younis Khan, Tasnifullah, Akhtar Ali, Kamran Khan, Waqasullah, Rameez, Fayyaz Khan, Waleed, Abidullah, Nasir Khan, Arifullah, Ali Arshad, Mohammad Naveed Akram, Mohammad Shahzad, Zeeshan Raza, Mohammad Akram, Tughlab Aamar, Azhar Abbas, Adnan Pasha, Mohammad Hamza, Mohammad Wasit, Mohammad Ghaffar, Mohammad Sami Khan, Waqas Ahmed, Faisal Asghar, Safdar Shaheen, Najam Saleem Naqvi, Anwar Naseer and Ehtisham Hussain.
