KARACHI: A session Court of Karachi on Monday granted interim bail  to three owners of the Ali Enterprises, a factory which was gutted in deadly fire that killed at least 258 people, till October 6, DawnNews reported.

Police in Karachi had registered a murder case against the owners of the factory Abdul Aziz Bhaila and his sons Arshad Bhaila and Shahid Bhaila on Sept 13.

Additional District and Sessions Judge (West) Abdullah Channah directed them to submit surety of one million each.

The attorney of the owners said that his clients should be given chance to present their point of view.

He said that his clients were not leaving the country as their passports have already been confiscated. Adding that, their accounts have also been frozen.

The court ordered that accused should not be intimidated.

Initially the owners of the fire-wrecked factory approached Sindh High Court's circuit bench in Larkana seeking protective bail which there were granted.
