LANDI KOTAL: Two persons were buried alive in a mudslide in Ali Masjid area of Jamrud tehsil on Sunday.

Rescue 1122 staff in the area said that both the bodies were retrieved from a cave which the diseased were digging at the time of the mudslide in Lala Cheena locality.

Khasadar officials said Nor Mat Khan, one of the diseased, had engaged a labourer, Shahid, to expand a cave in which he was living with his family after a part of the cave eroded in recent rains. They said the bodies were retrieved by Rescue 1122 officials with the help of local residents.
