ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has extended timing for the collection of duty and taxes at ports for the next two days.

An official announcement stated that all Model Customs Collectorates will observe extended working hours on the 29th and 30th of June, remaining open on June 29 till 10pm and on June 30 till 12am to facilitate taxpayers in the last two days of the current financial year.

The Chief Collectors of Customs will also liaise with the National Bank of Pakistan and other scheduled banks to transfer tax collection from these branches to the State Bank by June 30.
