TAXILA: Two people were killed in separate incidents at Wah Saddar and Hassanabdal on Saturday.
A 25-year-old shopkeeper committed suicide in front of his shop at Nawaabad bazaar in the jurisdiction of Wah Saddar police.
Police said Javed Shah came out of his shop and shot himself dead with a 30-bore pistol due to unknown reasons.
In the second incident, a 14-year-old boy was shot dead allegedly by his friends while playing cricket in Mohallah Irshad Nagar, Hassanabdal.
Police said Humayun Gul exchanged hot words with his friends Raja Hamza, Raja Khalid Akhter,
Zahoor Naseem and Adeel Naeem.
Later, when Gul was going home, the four friends shot him and fled.
