TAXILA: Robbers killed a truck driver, besides looting a shop in Hassanabdal police area.
A bandits gang stopped the truck driver near Burhan. When they tried to rob him he put up resistance, annoying a member of the gang who shot him dead.
They also robbed a trader of Rs600,000 on Hazara Road and mannaged to escape.
The local trader and business community have expressed concern over poor law and order situation in the area and called upon the police authorities concerned to take action.
