PTI, Qadri long march: Situation getting dangerous, says PPP leader

ISLAMABAD: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has expressed serious concern over the political situation in the country after the announcement of Dr Tahirul Qadri to join PTI’s Azadi March.

In a statement on Sunday, the PPP leader said the situation was getting “dangerous” and fears were emerging that the democratic set-up could be wrapped up.

The PPP leader said that Dr Qadri had made “very dangerous announcements”. “Who will be responsible if the country witnesses bloodbath after the announcement of Dr Qadri?” he asked.

Mr Shah said the country was heading towards confrontation.

He said the situation required that the security forces should be on high alert in the coming days.

Shah sahib yes the situation is now dangerous for all corrupt people in Pakistan like most of your party and friends. All of your dishonest earned wealth is in danger of being taken away by the woken up people of Pakistan. Those people have been beat with sticks, shot, tear gased and arrested for trying to have peaceful protests. However, now that your seats are about to be uprooted you say things have become dangerous. What about all those poor Pakistanis trying to exercise their democratic rights of protests?

Every time someone criticised PPP they said establishment wanted to topple a democratic government but that imaginary enemy never surfaced and it won't surface but it might discredit non-PPP opposition parties (PPP and PML-N motive achieved).

All the hard work, patience and maturity shown by PPP during their tenure to bring the institutions together is going to waste. If it was on PPP they could have created several such deadlocks like when their elected prime minister was sent home or when they were being harassed by a very biased Chief Justice. They did no such thing. This government is a MONARCHY. Feeling bad for PPP and other true democratic parties PKMAP Baluchistan etc.

Imran and Qadri would settle down like foam if they receive a call from the right quarters. If the call comes, it would switch off the two robots; if it doesn't, present government might be in trouble. Corruption or no corruption. Similarly, good governance or bad governance is immaterial.
