LANDI KOTAL: Body of a 15-year-old missing school student was found in a well in Mukhtarkhel area of Landi Kotal on Friday.

Family sources said that Saqib, a grade 9 student, went missing on Sunday last from near his home in Mukhtarkhel.

They said that they searched for him in all the nearby localities, but could not found him.

On Friday morning, local women spotted the body of Mr Saqib in a well when they were drawing water from it.

As the family members and other villagers were informed they rushed to the site and retrieved the body from the well. Reasons behind the incident couldn't be immediately ascertained, while family members of the student said they had no enmity with anyone.

Meanwhile, a minor boy was killed when a mortar shell fell on a house in Loe Shalman area near the Pak-Afghan border.
