OKARA: The Voice of the Balochistan Missing Persons (VBMP) led by Mama Abdul Qadeer Baloch moved on to Islamabad after an overnight stay in Okara.

The rally comprising five men, nine women and two children reached Qadirabad on GT Road on Thursday evening from where Anjuman-i-Mazareen Punjab’s Younis Iqbal took them to his house at village 10/4L for overnight stay.

He took them back to Qadirabad for onward march towards Islamabad on Friday morning.

Mama Qadeer said his son, Jaleel Rukni, was among the missing. He said the group started its long march 85 days ago but no government agency or politician contacted it to facilitate the campaign.

He said an Edhi Trust ambulance carrying medicines, eatables and water had been given to them.
