By Our Staff Reporter

LAHORE, Oct 25: The chief ministers of Sindh, Balochistan and the NWFP reached here on Saturday to attend an inter-provincial conference scheduled here for Sunday.

They are expected to discuss matters of national importance like distribution of water and construction of dams. They will also ponder ways to improve inter-provincial relations, it is learnt.

To be held at The Mall office of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the meeting will be followed by a joint press conference in the afternoon.

The chief ministers — Ali Mohammad Mahar of Sindh, Jam Yousaf of Balochistan and Akram Khan Durrani of the NWFP — were accorded a warm welcome on their arrival at the Lahore Airport.

Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, who is organizing the conference, received his counterparts along with members of his cabinet and senior officials.
