KARACHI, July 2: The department of biochemistry of the University of Karachi is celebrating 50 years of its formation and organised an international conference between July 9 and 11, says a press release.
The conference on “Biochemistry in the post-genomic era” will be attended by well-known researchers and academicians fromaround the world. Two workshops are also being held for technical skill development of PhD students and researchers.
The chairperson of the department, Prof Dr Nikhat Siddiqui, has invited the alumni of the department to participate in the event.—PPI
