Exhibition to promote local brands

LAHORE: Local businesses, IT companies, industries, entrepreneurs and academia are being brought under one roof at a three-day exhibition to promote local brands and expand their access to domestic and international markets.

The Mera Brand Pakistan exhibition will be held at the Expo Centre from Aug 14 to 16 with the organisers saying the event is aimed at strengthening national branding, increasing the visibility of Pakistani products and creating new business and export opportunities.

Speaking to media persons, Pak International Business Forum leaders Ejaz Tanveer and Abdul Wadood Alvi said the exhibition would provide local businesses an opportunity to display their products and services, interact with potential buyers, develop business linkages and understand market trends.

They stressed that collective efforts were required to promote locally-manufactured and developed products besides projecting Pakistan’s entrepreneurial and industrial potential internationally.
