KARACHI: A young man was found brutally murdered in Malir on Tuesday, police and rescue services officials said. They added that the body of an unidentified man, aged around 25-30, stuffed in a sack was found at Gulshan-i-Qadri near Mai Satti Mazar. The body was cut into three pieces.

Malir City SHO Riaz Ahmed Bhutto said that apparently the man was killed somewhere else and later on the body was thrown in the bushes. He said the fingers of the deceased were also cut. Besides, his nose was also cut. It indicated the possibility that the killers wanted to prevent the victim from being identified through his fingerprints or facial features by the National Database and Registration Authority.

He said DNA samples had been collected for identification purposes. The corpse was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
