Peshawar gets new police chief

PESHAWAR: Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed, a BS-20 officer of Police Service of Pakistan, was transferred and posted capital city police officer (CCPO) Peshawar here on Tuesday.

A notification issued from the Central Police Office (CPO) stated that following the approval of chief minister, the provincial police officer, in exercise of powers conferred upon him under section

17(4) of Police Act, 2017, transferred CCPO Peshawar Qasim Ali Khan, BS-20, and posted him DIG security division at the CPO.

He was replaced by Mian Saeed Ahmed, BS-20, who was serving as DIG security division at the CPO.

Besides, Rizwan Manzoor, BS-20, DIG headquarters, has been transferred and posted commandant Police Training College, Hangu, while Huamyun Masood Sandh, BS-20, awaiting posting at the CPO, has been transferred and posted DIG legal KP police.

Irfanullah, BS-20, DIG legal KP police, has been transferred and posted DIG headquarters, while Abdullah, BS-19, awaiting posting at the CPO, has been transferred and posted AIG operations at the CPO.
