Britain will recognise a Palestinian state in September if Israel doesn’t end its military campaign in Gaza and commit to peace, Reuters reports.

Britain’s Foreign Secretary David Lammy made the announcement in an international conference at the United Nations that aims to work on a two-state solution between Israel and the Palestinians.
