BAHAWALPUR: Baghdad-ul-Jadid police claimed to have arrested a visiting lecturer of the Islamia University on the charge of alleged sexual harassment of his student on Monday night.

SHO Mohsin Sardar confirmed the arrest and said the accused would be produced in the court on Tuesday (today) for his physical remand.

The police registered FIR under sections 384, 354, 506 and 509 PPC on the complaint of the girl, a resident of Lodhran. Presently, she is a student of BS honours.
