KHUZDAR: Three people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a truck and a pickup on Khuzdar-Naal road in Khuzdar district late Saturday night.

Levies officials said the incident occurred near the Samand checkpoint due to speeding. According to them, the Iranian oil-laden truck collided with the pickup when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

As a result, three people were killed on the spot and two others injured.

Levies personnel arrived at the scene shortly after receiving information about the crash. They shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital. The deceased were identified as Haji Muhammad Ismail and Haji Muhammad Bakhsh, both residents of Konch Firozabad.
