LAHORE: Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly, Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar, has alleged that the chief minister has turned the province into a “Kachra Punjab” instead of “Suthra Punjab”, saying that garbage piles can be seen anywhere, including Lahore.

In a video message on Wednesday, Mr Bhachar alleged that the chief minister squandered Rs400 billion only on advertisements of Suthra Punjab campaign.

The PTI leader said the CM has imposed “martial law” in the province, alleging that a perpetual crackdown against the party workers was going on.

He alleged that the police also pounced upon the PTI workers who organised an iftar party at Narowal.

He said the PML-N’s was a “rejected” government and would soon meet its “logical end”.
