Jabalia resident says his family has ‘nothing but God’s mercy’

In the rubble of Gaza’s neighbourhoods, traditional Ramadan lanterns have been hung and people have prayed as they prepared for the month of fasting to begin, Al Jazeera reports.

“My eight children and I are homeless. We are living on the streets of Jabalia camp with nothing but God’s mercy.”
