Hamas has called an Israeli strike on a Beirut building, which killed at least 14 and wounded dozens, a “brutal and terrorist aggression” and an “escalation”.

Iran’s foreign ministry accused Israel of seeking to “broaden the geography of the war”, AFP reports.
