GUJAR KHAN: Police here have arrested a schoolteacher for allegedly torturing a 12-year-old boy to torture for not completing his homework.

Matloob Hussain, a resident of Missa Kiswal village, reported to police on Wednesday that his son Abdul Hadi is a class-6 student of a private school at Jand Najar area. He said when his son returned from school on Tuesday, his hips and thighs were bruised and he had severe pain in the body. He alleged that a teacher beat up his son with a bamboo cane for not completing his homework.

The Gujar Khan police registered a case and arrested the suspect.
