BAHAWALNAGAR: A 10-year-old boy was hospitalised on Sunday after he was wounded in an attack by stray dogs in village Nadir Shah.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, Ali Hasnain (10) of village Nadir Shah was going to buy candies from a nearby shop when a pack of stray dogs attacked him and bit him.
Some passers-by rescued Ali after hearing his hue and cry. Ali suffered injuries on his face, hands, chest and legs in the attack and was immediately rushed to the DHQ hospital where he was under treatment.
The locals, including victim’s father Muhammad Ali, demanded the DC take action against the negligent municipal committee and health officials for their failure to eliminate stray dogs from the area.
