KARACHI: The Karachi Hockey Association (KHA) has selected 153 hockey players after a four-day camp here this week in which a total of 280 players took part.
The KHA is planning to hold a Talent Hunt Men’s Inter-District Hockey League 2021 and all the selected players will be part of another training camp after which seven teams each of 16 players will be formed to take part in the tournament.
The 10-day camp commenced from Friday.
The players were selected on the basis of their game, discipline and physical fitness.
The players should report at 2:00pm to SVP KHA Dr S A Majid, Imtiaz ul Hasan and Arshad Siddiqui.
Chairman Selection Committee is Olympian Hanif Khan with Abuzar Umrao, Pervaiz Iqbal, Saleem Khan, Tariq Qayyum and Asim Khan as members.
