BUNER: The body of a 10-year-old girl was recovered from maize fields in Sastu Ghundy area of Kulyari here on Saturday.

The Gagra Dewana Baba post in-charge Mohammad Ali quoted the girl’s father as saying that the deceased had been missing for last two days.

The police official said the girl was tortured to death. However, he said her autopsy report was awaited.

The father of the deceased accused his newly-wed daughter-in-law of being behind the cold-blooded murder.

The Dewana Baba police arrested the suspect after registering a case.
