Rabiul Awwal moon sighted, Eid-i-Miladun Nabi will be celebrated on November 10

Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Chairman Mufti Muneebur Rehman announced on Tuesday evening that the Rabiul Awwal moon was sighted, therefore, the month of Rabiul Awwal is commencing from Wednesday, October 30, and Eid-i-Miladun Nabi would fall on November 10.

The announcement was made after a meeting of the committee presided over by Mufti Muneeb, DawnNewsTV reported. Religious scholars from all schools of thought and weather experts attended the meeting.

Besides this, meetings of zonal committees were also held in all big cities of the country. Mufti Muneeb announced the sighting of the moon after receiving multiple testimonies from across the country.

Muslims around the world celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), known in Arabic as the Mawlid al-Nabawi holiday, on the 12th of Rabiul Awwal — the third month of the Islamic lunar calendar.
