SHEIKHUPURA: On the direction of TMA executive officer, the B-division police have registered a case against six people under Local Government Act 2013 for littering neighbourhood.

The local municipal authority had launched an operation to make the city neat and clean. Accordingly TMA started an operation against those citizens who would throw trash in front of their houses, streets and bazaars.

A survey team, led by official Mian Saqib, visited the Dushera ground locality and found garbage lying in front of six houses.

The B-Division police have registered a case against Junaid, Bashir, Afzal Gujjar, Karamat and two others.

Talking to the media, the official said the operation would continue to make the city clean.

FOUND DEAD: A class-VII student was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Bhilai Shah in the limits of Sharaqpur police.

Samiullah, son of farmer Jamil Ahmad, had slept in his room but he was found dead on his bed.

The body was shifted for autopsy.
