BNP-M to launch protest movement for recovery of missing persons‏

QUETTA: The Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) on Wednesday announced a series of protest demonstrations to press authorities for the recovery of missing Baloch political workers.

Addressing a press conference, Chairman of the organising committee of the BNP-M, Dr Jehanzeb Jamaldini, said the movement would be launched from November 2nd to 10th across the province.

He asserted that BNP-M leader Laal Jan was arrested along with two colleagues without any justification.

Jamaldini stated that Baloch political workers were still being picked up and that mutilated bodies were being found across the province.

"We will effectively agitate against the government for its failure to recover our political workers," Jamaldini said.

He dispelled the impression that the law and order situation was improving in the province, rather he asserted that it has deteriorated.

The BNP-M leader said that the present government has failed to address the grievances of the people of Balochistan.

He however insisted that issue can be resolved if the establishment decided to change its mindset with regard to the province.

Jamaldini said that the province has had an abysmal law and order situation for the last 15 years and that rulers were not addressing the people’s grievances.

He also lashed out at the ongoing PTI sit-ins in Islamabad and termed them a conspiracy against the democratic system.

The BNP-M leader urged all political forces to put their heads together and find an amicable solution to issues relating to Balochistan.
