LAHORE, Jan 25 The organizing committee of the 56th National Hockey Championship has announced the schedule of the final round which starts at the National Hockey Stadium (NHS) from Monday.

According to a PHF official, all the matches of final round will be played at the main ground of the NHS, which has been declared unfit by a three-member committee of the Punjab Sports Board in which two Olympians Khawaja Junaid and Ikhlaq Ahmed were included. According to the committee report the health of the players could be at stake if they play at the NHS.

While the final round will be played at the main ground, the tray championship, in which nine teams who failed to qualify for the final round, will be playing at the NHS's outer ground.

A total of 45 matches will played between 10 teams of the final round on league basis with each side playing nine matches. The champions will be decided on points' position.
