KARACHI, Jan 27 Thirty-two players from across the country will vie for honours when the National Juniors Snooker Championship gets into action at the Karachi Club from Feb 22.

Ayaz Khan handed 5-1 defeat to Ahsan Javed in the all-Punjab final to land the crown last year. The championship was revived in 2008 after a decade's layoff.

All the four provinces will be represented by eight cueists apiece in the weeklong event which concludes on Feb 28.

Meanwhile, the Sindh Juniors Cup begins at Aly's Snooker Parlour from Jan 31. This will form criteria for the selection of top eight for the national juniors' event.
