National volleyball in semis stage

LAHORE, April 15 Defending champions Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Army, Wapda and Navy entered the semi-final of the 45th National Men's Volleyball Championship in Sialkot on Thursday.

In the first match of the league quarter-final round Army outclassed Pakistan Ordnance Factory 25-16, 25-23 and 25-17.

Defending champions PAF thrashed NWFP 3-0 with the score 25-20, 25-18 and 25-13.

In the third match Wapda won easily against Punjab in straight sets 25-21, 25-18 and 25-13. In the last match of the day Navy outplayed Police 25-20, 25-15, 24-26, 23-25 and 15-9.
