Premier League matches resume

KARACHI, Dec 22 Matches in round 12 of KASB Premier League Football (PLF) resumed at the CDGK Stadium on Sunday with Nazimabad FC earning a walkover when Gharib Nawaz Dalmia failed to make it to the ground on time.

Meanwhile, Mauripur Baloch and district South champions Lal Bakhsh Memorial drew 1-1.

Nazimabad FC, which also got three points as well as three goals thanks to the walkover, is now heading the table with 26 points.

The other match saw international striker Farooq Rehman scoring for Mauripur Baloch in the 22nd minute while engaging in a one-to-one combination with right-winger Imran Hussain. There was little that goalkeeper Mohammad Tariq could do. The score at interval was 1-0.

Lal Bakhsh Memorial's equalizer came through their international striker Naseer Ahmed in the 78th minute, when he managed to convert a rebound off Mauripur Baloch's goalkeeper Wajid Ali.
