Two murdered in Kasur

KASUR, April 26: Two people were murdered while another sustained serious injuries in two incidents on Saturday.

Police said Islam and his brother Iqbal were going to their fields in Lalokey village, Kanganpur, when Ishaq along with his five accomplices opened indiscriminate firing on them. Islam died on the spot while Iqbal sustained injuries. He was rushed to the Lahore General Hospital in critical condition.

The motive behind the murder is stated to be a land dispute.

In the other incident, Ghulam Sadiq and his three accomplices stabbed to death Muhammad Husain over an old enmity in Wan Qasim village.

BODY FOUND: The body of an unidentified youth, around 18 years old, was found from BRB Canal in Theh Punuwan village.

The Mustafabad police took it in custody and sent to the DHQ Hospital for autopsy.
