13 injured in road accident

KARAK, Oct 2: Thirteen people were injured in a road accident near Fateh Sher Banda in the jurisdiction of Takht Nasrati police station here on Tuesday.

According to police sources, a speeding passenger bus (BE- 1785) going from Swat to Karachi collided head-on with a Mazda vehicle (LM-210) on the Indus Highway, resulting in injuries to 13 passengers including a woman.

The injured are Umar Nazar, Shahi Begum, Umair Awan, Warika Khan, Ali Sher, Hasnain Gul, Khalid Irfan, Ali Mohammad, Nasib Zada, Umar Gul, Raza Khan, Baz Mohammad, while the name of one injured could not be known.

The Takht Nasrati police have registered a case and started investigation.
