KARACHI, April 16 Three players -- Jahanzaib Khan, Hamza Pataudi and Basit Gabol -- on Friday stormed into the men's singles main round of the fourth Sindh Open ranking tennis tournament of the year by winning second qualifiers at the Beach View Club courts.

Five more qualifiers will join the above three in the main draw. Twenty seeded players are directly placed in the main draw with top four getting a first round bye.

Meanwhile, the ladies singles has attracted eight players.

Second qualifying round Jahanzaib Khan bt M.Z. Khattak 8-4; Hamza Pataudi bt Ahmed Ali 8-0; Basit Gabol bt M. Essa Jee 8-4.

Juniors' under-17 singles
Qualifying round Haresh Das bt Rabiuddin 8-2.

Saturday's fixtures
Boys' and girls' under-15 singles 9.00am; boys' and girls' under-13 singles 1.00pm; men's singles qualifying round 2.30pm; juniors' under-17 singles qualifying and main round 4.00pm.
